About the Author

Born and raised in India, Rachna immigrated to Canada after a short detour to Bahrain, the Middle East, in 1995. She started her first job as a teacher in India, and she continues to teach in an Elementary School in Ontario, Canada.

Over 25 years of teaching experience and raising her children in diverse settings have given Rachna valuable impressions. She has lived through and can relate to transitions and, at times, challenges for young children, such as immigration, cultural diversity, and language barriers.

However, she also appreciate the resilience that emerges out of such a diverse spectrum of experiences.

She has penned down her story ideas for as long as she can remember. She believe everyone has a story, and it’s just waiting to be shared.
